Looks Under $100: Vintage by Empress-Sha featuring Oasis bags

For those days when vintage inspired looks just beckon and call your name, as the summer weather tends to do, what with all the money being spent on attending all these fabulously chic events, a queen needs to find fashion solutions that are trendy and affordable.

I put together this look with Solange Knowles in mind; she is such a free spirit and is known for her love of vintage styling which she changes for no one.  Attending a music festival?  Going to an art museum?  Then this look would be perfect for you and will ring it at only $97!

Solange marches to the beat of her own drum, and her choice to rock Boxing Kitten is definitely representative of that.  The bold print and colors matches her personality perfectly.  She wore the Vegas Tam Tam dress, one of my favourites from the resort 2011 collection, while doing a DJ job at the Tao.

She paired her look with YSL sky high sandals in a tan color, that look nice while not competing with her bold dress.  Top marks!

Estelle wore her Frida Jumpsuit while performing in South Africa at the World Cup. Both ladies rocked it!

Solange Knowles, Rachel Roy, Halle Berry, Eva Mendes and Estelle all walked the red carpet at the DKMS 4th Annual Gala in a wide array of looks. Sporting her natural locks, Solange Knowles was star spangled in a multi coloured star patterned halter dress and black pumps.  Very cute, and I’m just loving the confidence she oozes no matter what hair style she has.

My favourite look of the evening was Rachel Roy’s, who looked stunning in a very figure flattering black twill cocktail dress from her spring 2010 collection.  A designer who looks this good in her own clothes is the ultimate endorsement! Not only was the dress on point, but the shoes were flawless.

Coachella brought out the best…and worst styles out of celebrities and regular folk alike.  Beyonce and her sister Solange were both out and about enjoying the festivities in what they felt was appropriate for such an event.  But which Knowles knows fashion best?

Is it Beyonce in her baggy Tee, ripped shorts and Chanel boots, or is it Solange in her Alexander spring 2010 cat eye sunspecs + striped tank and fluffy skirt?

Where: In New York this at Nellos restaurant to celebrate her anniversary with rapper Jay-Z.

What: She wore Maggie Christian Louboutins the go for $930, love the chain mail cap toe detail for that extra punch of something different.

Who: Rachel Bilson

Where: At the 15th Annual Gen Art Film Festival on April 8th.

What: She wore a white Preen Fall 2010 cut out dress, which she paired with Brian Atwood pumps. I this this dress is very cute, despite what others may think.

All my favourite chicks in one place! The Williams sisters, Venus and Serena plus Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles were all the the new launch of Tide plus Febreze Freashness Sport Event at the Recreation Deck at The W South Beach Hotel.  All the ladies looked great but Miss Solange definitley stood out from the crowd.

Solange made a colorful splash in a tweed blazer with colored tassels which brought this otherwise classic blazer to life.  She paired it with opaque black tights and matching heels, that create a long slender silhouette.

Solange also took time out to DJ at the event. I think she is an under rated triple threat; talented singer, DJ and fashionista, which counts for something in Hollywood.  Check out the 15+ pics after the jump.
