What better way to raise awareness then with an evening of Shopping and cocktails held by Coach at the Bad Robot in Santa Monica California yesterday.  All the benefits of the event will go to the Children’s Defense Fund an organization that aims to ensure all children have a healthy, fair, safe and moral head start in life all over the world.

Celebrities including Rashida Jones, Camilla Belle, Scarlett Johansson, Tarji P. Henson, Jennifer Garner, Jurnee Smollett, Joy Bryant and various others attended the event all carrying my personal favourite line of Coach accessories.

Rashida steals the show for me in her beige suit jacket, LBD and fringed black sandals + bag.  Camilla Belle also always jaw drops, this evening was no different with an easy glittery shift dress from Victoria Beckham’s spring 2011 collection and a simple pair of black peep toes.

Style Queens of the week: Rashida Jones and Kerry Washington

Casual: Casual Queen goes triumphantly to Rashida Jones who wore a very cute, creative casual outfit in L.A. this week.  Her look is a perfect example of transitional fashion; good for early fall or spring she layers her olive green jacket over a chunky grey knit sweater, and unexpected black and pink striped skirt.

Dressy: Kerry Washington keeps most of the color on her toes in mauve pointy toed pumps and a cute puff sleeve floral dress.  A touch of mixing the old with the new with classic execution wins Kerry the dress queen title this week.

I always knew fashion could do amazing things.  Not only is there a reason to look great every morning, but now there’s a great cause to support in doing so.  Style Cause is an initiative started by Theory which invites members of the entertainment industry to style their must have looks for the spring season. Rashida Jones used her creative fashion forward sensibility style 3 looks using Theory apparel.   The looks are available to purchase Theory with 10% of the proceeds going towards Children Mending Hearts and Peace First, charities dedicated to educating and empowering at-risk children.
