 Happy Monday!!!

I hope you all had a restful weekend,  I got a lot of reading done, thank god so I’m looking forward to the coming week.  I came across  Nicole Scherzinger in these heels over at necolebitchie, they’re insane! Nicole Scherzinger is popping up all over the place since her spot on the X-factor’s judging panel, her style has seemed to have absorbed much of the spotlight too since I’ve never seen her demonstrate this level of style, since….ever really.

These babies are Giuseppe Zanotti tribal print curved booties, which clearly take some calves of steel to be able to smile and walk at the same time.  Inspired by the stylish African women of the 70′s these booties sure look worth the effort.  If your keen on marching in one of these start walking round the house with a book on your head ladies, these might put you to work!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, time waits for no one and neither does fashion!  Diane Kruger was striking in crimson red YSL at the amfAR gala this week, she looked stunning with a simple up do.   Jessica White stood tall in a navy mini dress for the BET Grey Goose Presents The Jill Scott Experience.  Loving the grey peep toe and Alexander McQueen clutch.  Lara Stone kept it simple in a slinky nude gown at the The 13th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball.  Simplicity never fails.

Adding a little sparkle and shine Nicole Szcherzinger  wore a black and gold mini to celebrate her birthday in Las Vegas and Nicole Ari Parker stepped out in abstract pattern with husband Boris Kodjoe for an evening at the Guild Event to Celebrate the Opening of “Radcliffe Bailey at the international film festival.  Smouldering starlet Eva Mendes stepped out in Thierry Mugler for the reveal of her new campaign Angel By Thierry Mugler.

In no particular order these 7 ladies pulled it out for me this week; Alicia Keys bronzed skin glows in her feather trained black Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci, worn to the Keep a Child Alive black ball.  She hosts this event every year, and this year went for edge by belting her look with a spiked belt.  Love it or hate it?

Kim Kardashian’s looks often resemble each other, but this dress caught my attention with its nude color and black laser cut details, very sexy.  Nicole Scherzinger sizzled in hot pink, haven’t noticed her on the scene much lately till she wore this number to the premiere of Cars 2 with husband Louis Hamilton by her side.

Katie Holmes and La La Vasquez must of read my post on Rompers, because both ladies hit the streets in their own takes on the look.  Katie in her navy jumpsuit is beyond cute, with the wide leg styling she makes this look seem completely fool proof a great look for day. Lala who has a curvier body opts for a strapless patterned suit belted at the waist she wore to celebrate her birthday in Las Vegas with hubby Carmelo Anthony.

In keeping with the wide leg styling which I think I need to ditch my skinny jeans for, Solange Knowles pairs an emerald green pair with a cute slashed shoulder white top.  Her Afro puts her retro look over the top, definitely not for the insecure.  I love that’s she’s such a free spirit and does not shy away from attention grabbing looks.

Nicole Scherzinger has been quite for a while….since dancing with the stars anyway.  Came  across these amazing photos from her latest photo shoot while my daily read at That Grape Juice.  Shot by photographer by Troy Jensen, Nicole shines brighter than usual with heavy stacks of crystals on her wrist and picture perfect makeup and hair.

What ever she plans to do next these photos should get her some well deserved camera time.

The People’s Choice awards were held at the Nokia Theatre on Wednesday, in Los Angeles California.  Sandra Bullock and Taylor Swift cleaned up with Sandra winning both favorite movie actress for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in the Blind Side and best comedy for her performance alongside actor Ryan Reynolds in The Proposal. Taylor won favorite female artist.  Not bad.  Taylor made the cut in a Jenny Packham dress, Neil Lane earrings and bracelet, Odette ring, Christian Louboutin shoes, Swarovski clutch and a Tory Burch trench.
