Solange Knowles in Mellow Yellow
Solange Knowles brings the golden rays of sunshine with her to the Carol’s Daughter & Monoi Repairing Collection Launch at Sephora in New York this week. Yellow is hot, and just about everywhere. Love her loose fitting trousers which she’s belted at the waist and paired with a crisp white shirt, flowing fro and pedicured white nails in strappy sandals. Even notice that her toes and fingers are polished different colours; you don’t always have to match!

Rocking an attitude in her signature tom boy style Zoe Saldana sizzled in a white silk shirt with plunging V neck line and cropped trousers paired with Christian Louboutin Mary Janes at the Michael Kors Cocktail & Dinner In Honor Of Designer Michael Kors held at the US Embassy this week.
Also looking very chic were a number of other stars including Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Models Anja Rubik and Natasha Poly.

Mary J. Blige attended the Catherine Malandrino Fashion Show To Benefit FFAWN at The Museum of Modern Art in New York earlier this week. She looked stunning as per usual as this R&B legend tends to do, she is such a a go getter putting her name behind many great causes.
The collection it’s self was gorgeous, Beyonce was recently spotted in a Catherine Malandrino gown at the Tony Awards earlier this week, thats pretty much how I was introduced to the label.
Models such as Sessliee Lopez, one of my idols..lol..also walked the runway looking fierce in strapped up knee high sandals, that I need a pair of ASAP! After checking out her web site, I have to say I’m a certified fan, hit that up and check out her style.
2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala
I Loveeee this dress. *somebody pinch me* Jennifer does it again in one of the hottest dresses I’ve seen at the latest events in another Roberto Cavalli dress. Yesterday I spent the entire day…literally…looking for a dress to go to the Bajan Gala here in Toronto. It’s early next month and I’m running out of time to find a showstopper that not only drops every body’s jaw but doesn’t make me drop my wallet!
This dress would be ideal if anyone wants to donate….*sighs* I digress…

2010 MET Costume Gala: Cassie/Iman + Chanel Iman/Nicole Richie/Mary J. Blige
The photo ops continue, and there were just so many amazing gowns that this week there will be so many contenders for style queen of the week.
Cassie looked striking in a cobalt blue Versace gown with laser cut neckline and a daring split that ran all the way up her right leg. Cassie’s got the look to pull this off and she did so flawlessly, not one complaint from me, 10′s all the way around. She did also make that buzz cut look classy with the soft waves she put in the top. Shall we stop hating??
