Casual: Casual Queen goes triumphantly to Rashida Jones who wore a very cute, creative casual outfit in L.A. this week. Her look is a perfect example of transitional fashion; good for early fall or spring she layers her olive green jacket over a chunky grey knit sweater, and unexpected black and pink striped skirt.
Dressy: Kerry Washington keeps most of the color on her toes in mauve pointy toed pumps and a cute puff sleeve floral dress. A touch of mixing the old with the new with classic execution wins Kerry the dress queen title this week.

RED CARPET READY AT THE 42nd NAACP AWARDS
Kerry Washington, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Vanessa Williams and a host of othe beautiful women of color attended the 42nd NAACP Image Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on March 4, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
The NAACP awards which is a multi-cultural awards show that celebrates achievements and performances of people of color (not just black) in the arts (television, recording, literature, motion picture and writing & directing).
Award winners for the evening include the ever radiant Halle Berry for Outstanding female in a motion picture for Frankie and Alice and Sofia Vergara for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in ABC’s Modern Family.
Favourite looks: Halle Berry’s sexy cut out dress and Anika Noni Rose’s red carpet selection, which surprised me because it was finally nice to see her sex it up a bit.

Rosario Dawson in a long leopard print Burberry dress, Brian Atwood pumps and beige trench; this spring wardrobe staple, made an appearnce at 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards styled like a parisian princess for one of the many Oscar related events this week.
Many ladies stepped out but few stepped up to the plate in anything worth mentionig. Favs for the week include, Rosario shown above, Nicole Ari Parker’s eye catching dress and Kerry Washington one of the usual fashion fore runners.
