Stella McCartney Fills The Gap For Kids Spring 2010
For those of you who may or may not already know, British designer Stella McCartney has partnered with Gap kids to deliver a second pint sized spring 2010 collection, that is slated to be released this March 29th. How exciting! I actually have a son myself, and was super excited when I found out the news. How cute would it be to dress up a kid in fashion forward Stella McCartney duds!
She gave her friends Model Kate Moss and Laura Bailey a sneak peek at the collection yesterday in Porchester Hall in London, England. Stella is totally against the use of leather and fur, so you can have confidence that the collection will be cruelty free.
Bestsellers from the winter collection include the Miller naval jacket, named after the designer’s eldest son, Miller Alasdhair James Willis. Love the military jacket, so cute my son could rock that!
“For this second collection I wanted to design pieces that ensure your child looks like an individual with their own style statement, a mixture of simple minimal styles and more detailed pieces to create a summer wardrobe for all your kids’ needs.”
Think you’ll be buying these for your kids or as gifts?
More pics after the jump.
I’m Obsessed with Vintage
I don’t know what it is, maybe I’m going through a mid life crisis, but I am so drawn to vintage clothes these days. Maybe It’s because I’m getting older and broadening my horizons, keeping my mind open to fresh new–or old things. A trip to the thrift store my very well be in order if this obsession of mine doesn’t cease to bang at my conscious. Kate Moss the living breathing example of vintage was the inspiration for this set, and I’m going to keep them coming. New favourite model.

Kate Moss On The Cover Of Harper’s Bazaar March 2010 Fashion Issue

Kate Mossis the face of Harper’s Bazaar March Fashion Spring Issue for the 8th time in her career. Harper’s Bazaar felt Kate was a true embodiment of fashion and in the spring of 2011, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris will stage a major exhibition on her. An amazing accomplishment for a super model who is still so young (36 years old to be exact).

Fashion: British Fashion Awards 2009
Model Kate Moss, poses for the British Fashion Awards supported by Swarovski at the Royal Courts of Justice Strand in London England on December 9. Kate won the London 5 award for her influence and embodiment of fashion in London over the past 25 years. Designer Vivienne Westwood was also there, her Winter 09/10 collection is the business. Some of my favorite pieces from her have a Japanese Harajuku feel to them, which I love, it’s always different and always original. Victoria Beckham was also there and looked regal as always in a Gothic inspired dress, which seemed to be the theme for the evening with much of the other women as well.
