Who Queened it?: 2010 Costume Gala
The costume Gala brings out a lot of buzz worthy dresses, my favourite article of clothing to babble about, and there were oh so many dresses that made me babble.
Zoe Saldana, Joy Bryant, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Richie, Oprah, Naomi Campbell, Jessica Szohr, Gwen Stefani, Kerry Washington, Katy Perry, were all in attendance and all in their designer best. But who was the fairest of them all? A very pressing question indeed….
“The Back-Up Plan” London Gala Premiere: JLo In Lanvin
Jennifer Lopez shows no signs of stopping, pulling out one great look after another. Continuing with her heavy promotion of The Backup Plan she sports a Lanvin one shoulder dress, with black pumps and a matching clutch.
The material is very heavy looking and despite the weight that the shoulder that is present adds, she doesn’t let the dress command her for a second.

Ciara Very Versace + JLO In Georges Chakra @ Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Event
Ciara stepped out to the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style event in Drai’s Hollywood California in Versace from head to toe. Both items are from the spring 2010 collection, and my heart goes pitter patter once more at the beauty of those shoes! Starting with the dress, which is a black and yellow Versace Baroque Corset dress ($2,959) that has a sexy split up the thigh. The shoes are Versace Intrecciata Metal Platform Sandals ($1,925) that tower with a 3″ platform. Those must take some serious practice to walk in! Eva Marcelle wore another pair from the collection recently on her stop to the Monique show, equally as breathtaking.

The Back up Plan Los Angeles: Jennifer Lopez + Heidi Klum
And the punches just keep on rolling with Jennifer stepping out in another winner to the Los Angeles premiere of her new film “The Back up Plan”. From head to toe this silver Gianfranco one shoulder dress is killing the paparazzi slowly. She kept her look monochromatic, in silver head to toe including her studded clutch and peep toe pumps.
Heidi Klum also graces the red carpet oh so gracefully in an Emilio Sosa original. He was the winner of a recent challenge on one of my favourite shows…I have a lot…..Project Runway. Originally the dress was presented as a gown, which I sort of prefer although this mini dress isn’t too shabby either. She makes the whole look pop with the cutest shoes I’ve seen all day, by Christian Louboutin.

Jenny’s Back!
Looks like JLo’s not playing when it comes to her public image and killer fashion selections over the past few days. She trail blazes this week hot on her “The Back Up Plan” Film promotion making stops all over town to let us know that Jenny from the block is Back Bish!
Let’s break down what she’s been wearing over the past few days (from L to R)
To the Screening of The Back Up Plan She selected a Monique Lhuillier leopard printed dress, and Lanvin pumps, not my favourite look of the bunch but she still doesn’t fail to impress with those hot Lanvin chain T-strap pumps, which had the net a buzz, and me with my jaw on the floor. Lanvin is one of my favs, and I need not tell you how hot I think those shoes are!
Next on her way to the Today’s Show in Manhattan she sported a cute red Halston Mini dress, and Christian Louboutin Lully pumps, which Kate Beckinsale also wore recently in a different color to the Condé Nast Traveler “Hot List” party in Las Vegas. Love it because the color is bold and bright and it shows off her post twin bod and killer legs. Why don’t mine look like that yet…? Well I’m trying, almost there!
In New York to record a taping of David Letterman, Jenny stepped out in a chic black wool coat by Canadian designer Mikhael Kale. The silk sleeves give this black coat just enough punch to make you stop and peep it for a second time. Score another for the Canucks!
On the Early Show she wore a bumble bee inspired Sachin + Babi mini dress, with black pumps and matching bangles. This look was the most fun, and even with horizontal stripes running across the entire dress, she looks long and lean. Pulling her hair back was a good decision; it allows the pattern to run its course uninterrupted.
And lastly we must talk about this glittering peach Lanvin dress she was spotted wearing on her way out of her New York City hotel. She’s completely glammed out but avoids looking tacky. This is a look I think might have the masses split but she gets thumbs up from me. Adding the Lanvin pumps to the equation only adds gold stars to my score sheet.

The Back Up Plan Premiere: JLO Has Edge In Lanvin
Arriving to the screening of her new film the “Back up Plan” continues to up her style game and her choice to rock these architectural chain T-strap sandals from the spring 2010 collection is another step in the right direction. The Mary Jane pump has a classic silhouette with a touch of rock chic which I love. I don’t particularly care for her Monique Lhuillier dress, but the two do go well together.
Her husband Marc Anthony also attended the event…of course and the two coordinated together very well. Keep up the good work Jenny!
