The 2011 MET Gala always brings out the creative tiger in stylist and celebrities alike, this year there was no shortage of bewildering looks, and foolish fumbles from celebrities, models, designers and actresses alike.  Christina Ricci, Keri Hilson, Liv Tyler, Ginnifer Goodwin, Rihanna, Beyonce and Jay – Z, Miranda Kerr, Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively and Anna Wintour just to name a few.

Dedicated to the late great Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton who represent the famous Alexander McQueen house set the tone of the evenings events, and might I say almost everyone followed suit.

Christina Ricci was definitely in the Alexander vibe in her Zac Posen webbed dress.  2 thumbs way up for her selection, more that appropriate for the Alexander theme, and eerily beautiful; her gown looks like it was spun right on her.

Keri Hilson in Versace was gorgeous, the perfect neutral set off her skin tone beautifully, on point and not at all over done.

Liv Tyler in Givenchy Couture was radient in her feathered frock, the color was a pleasantly unexpected wash of yellow at the hem which she tied in nicely with her matching yellow Givenchy clutch.

Ever since Ginnifer cut her hair which I know was a while ago I’ve been irreversibly in love with her style.  Don’t be fooled by her soft unsuspecting face, Ginnifer has major style and popped right off the red carpet in an irresistible emerald green  Topshop gown.

With the royal wedding taking front stage this week, fashion has been at the forefront of just about everyones mind.  The mystery of the royal gown was finally revealed. Celebrities Rihanna launched her scent Reb’l Fleur in a cute Mandalay dress.

Iman in Jason Wu and Keri Hilson rocked the DKMS Gala and Blake Lively attended  the TIME’S 100 Most Influential People In The World dinner in Zuhair Murad.

Jennifer Hudson in Calvin Klein,Brazilian model Ana Beatriz and Alessandra Ambrosio looked amazing at the amfAR Inspiration gala.  Nicole Richie showcased her line Winter Kate at Neiman Marcus wearing her own collection.

Rocker Gwen Stefani and rapstress Nicki Minaj cover the latest issue of Elle’s May 2011 Music Issue. Gwen who is wearing Givenchy and Michael Kors, shed some light on her personal life, which always seems to be much of a mystery to me on her appearance, pregnancy and husband Gavin. Her look is modern and bold with her platinum mane swept straight back.  Eye make up check, hair check, girl looks good!

Gwen on her appearance: “I mean, I’m very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual.”

Gwen on Gavin: “The first time we ever kissed was right around Valentine’s Day — we were in New Orleans on tour. So, yeah, I always think about that because it’s unbelievable that we’ve been able to stay together. I feel so proud of us — it’s one of my biggest achievements.”

Jennifer Hudson appeared on the scene in 2004 as a contestant on American Idol.  Her voice was larger than life, but now it seems that since her weight loss after teaming with Weight Watchers that her style is just as big.  Big and beautiful in every way; her Orange gown she wore  for the Oscars and corresponding Vanity fair party for me is the highlight of her past outfits for 2011.  The bright color against her mocha skin is breath taking.

Her beige mini Chloe dress was word when she performed on stage at 2011 Nickelodeon upfront presentation.  She opted for Versace at the Grammy’s which was also a hot look.  One thing that works for her; color and lots of it. I lover her purple and orange color blocked ensemble she wore when she performed on Good Morning America last month.  Her hot pink mini and sky high platforms are also a winner.

Rocking an attitude in her signature tom boy style Zoe Saldana sizzled in a white silk shirt with plunging V neck line and cropped trousers paired with Christian Louboutin Mary Janes at the Michael Kors Cocktail & Dinner In Honor Of Designer Michael Kors held at the US Embassy this week.

Also looking very chic were a number of other stars including Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Models Anja Rubik and Natasha Poly.
