Red Carpet Style: Ladies @ the “Braxton Family Values” Series Premiere Party
Toni Braxton looked amazing in a tight white long sleeved mini dress paired with grey pencil thin platform pumps at the “Braxton Family Values” Series premiere in West Hollywood California. What is this woman drinking?? Her body these days is looking very proper indeed.
Gabrielle Union went a little too casual for my taste in something you would more likely wear to a picnic….not too sure about this look at all. Her hair and makeup however are on point and her skin as usual is flawless.
4th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon
Jennifer Hudson, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Kimora Lee and a host of other black beauties attended the 4th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday which honored “Simply the Best” Black actresses. Pastels and spring like colors lined the beige carpet, the fierce is coming out for the coming season, flip it to see what the other ladies wore.
Loving the color combinations here; Jennifer’s soft purple with taupe pumps and nails, Garcelle’s bright blue pumps and Kimora’s peach approach with teal nails.

Halle Berry in a crimson red Elie Saab Haute Couture gown looked stunning on the black carpet of the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards this week. Her chiffon and lace gown featured a open v-neck and long cascading train. All the ingredients of a sexy sirens call!
Other style Queens including Gabrielle Union, Stylist Kiyah Wright and singer Ciara also stepped out this week where Gabby hosted The Beauty Suite in hot little numbers, including a blue jumpsuit which my girlfriend actually just asked if it wasn’t too early in the season to wear. I would say yeah just a touch, come April May these will be more than appropriate, but I feel like Gabby’s is the perfect shade even for an early spring ensemble. What do you think, too early to pull out the jumpsuits?

Gabrielle Union at Ludacris’ Annual Shopping Fundraiser
Gabrielle Union alongside Chaka Zulu helped Ludacris host his annual Shopping fundraiser benefiting the Ludacris foundation last night in his home town Atlanta.
Gabby looked good in her simple yet elegant one shoulder dress, but the elegance stopped at the shoes. The shoes are too heavy and weigh down the whole look. I would have much preferred to see her in some skinny strapped sandals like the Jimmy choo Quinta mirrored-leather sandals, for a more delicate approach.
They’re much lighter and go with the color of her dress, and skinny straps are more appropriate than the thick platforms which look like they would be better suited for day. Which would you wear my pick or Gabby’s?
