Solange and Estelle in Boxing Kitten
Solange marches to the beat of her own drum, and her choice to rock Boxing Kitten is definitely representative of that. The bold print and colors matches her personality perfectly. She wore the Vegas Tam Tam dress, one of my favourites from the resort 2011 collection, while doing a DJ job at the Tao.
She paired her look with YSL sky high sandals in a tan color, that look nice while not competing with her bold dress. Top marks!
Estelle wore her Frida Jumpsuit while performing in South Africa at the World Cup. Both ladies rocked it!

Zoe Saldana, Kelly Rowland and Estelle all hit up the amFAR New York Inspiration Gala looking very chic in their respective outfits. Kelly and Estelle actually performed during the night alongside M.A.C Viva Glam Spokesperson Cyndi Lauper At amFAR New York Inspiration Gala; Kelly in a sleek white Herve Leger dress, and Estelle in Jean Paul Gaultier.
Selita Ebanks in Victoria Beckham Collection @ 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards
Model Selita Ebanks looked a cut above the rest at the 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards, in a hip hugging gray Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 collection sheath dress.
Selita has the perfect body shape for this dress; she’s shaped just like Victoria, which all these look suit extraordinarily well. The tweed cut out dress, which goes for $1,995, also features padded shoulders and a white love or hate racer stripe running down the back.
My favourite part about it is the cut out detail on the chest. The structure look and feel is so unmistakably Victoria, and Selita is truly working it. She pairs her look with a matching silver clutch, and black Christian Louboutin pumps that connect with the black waist band.
I’m not offended by the hip wings either, they come in like a simplified version of a peblum skirt. Overall love it!

Boxing Kitten Resort 2010 Launch Presentation + Estelle in Boxing Kitten
Late last month I was very excited when I shared the news of Boxing Kitten’s soon coming spring 2010 lookbook. Thankfully I was dropped a tip by Emily that the release party was actually last night on the Soho roof top at Etnie’s Showroom in NYC and it was for the Resort 2010 collection. Maya A. Lake the divine mind behind the label poses with models above all dressed in clothes from her label.
The line has the same African flare I’ve come to know love about the label. I’d like to get my hands on a few pieces, including that purple jumpsuit. There’s so many events going on in the city, and now that I’m back and actually living an active social life…(one which I’ve been deprived of for several months) I’ll have more reasons to dress up and post outfit pics!
I’ll have the lookbook for the collection to share with you sometime next week so make sure to check back for that see exactly what Boxing Kitten has in store this season, but from the looks above I’m sure I’ll be in love.
