7 Days 7 Looks
Another week has come and gone, but the looks that have graced the red carpets, and star studded events remain; here’s 7 looks that stood out from the sea of Louis V and Christian C.
Rachel Roy// Love the modern fresh faced minimal make up approach to this look. No one wear Rachel Roy Collection better than the designer herself, in a classic black and white Rachel Roy Collection ensemble paired with banded sandals and a hot pink satin clutch she’s still every bit the lady and more!
Rihanna// Almost the best look of the week for me, Rihanna was a stunner at the Billboard awards in her white Max Azria pant suit paired with nude colored Christian Louboutins.
Jennifer Lopez// Jumpsuits are back! Jenny brought her showcased her hot body in sparkly champagne colored one by Halston paired with silver sandals.
2011 Met Gala: Zoe Saldana, Christina Ricci, Rihanna, Beyonce, Blake Lively, Naomi Campbell, Kerry Washington + More
The 2011 MET Gala always brings out the creative tiger in stylist and celebrities alike, this year there was no shortage of bewildering looks, and foolish fumbles from celebrities, models, designers and actresses alike. Christina Ricci, Keri Hilson, Liv Tyler, Ginnifer Goodwin, Rihanna, Beyonce and Jay – Z, Miranda Kerr, Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively and Anna Wintour just to name a few.
Dedicated to the late great Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton who represent the famous Alexander McQueen house set the tone of the evenings events, and might I say almost everyone followed suit.
Christina Ricci was definitely in the Alexander vibe in her Zac Posen webbed dress. 2 thumbs way up for her selection, more that appropriate for the Alexander theme, and eerily beautiful; her gown looks like it was spun right on her.
Keri Hilson in Versace was gorgeous, the perfect neutral set off her skin tone beautifully, on point and not at all over done.
Liv Tyler in Givenchy Couture was radient in her feathered frock, the color was a pleasantly unexpected wash of yellow at the hem which she tied in nicely with her matching yellow Givenchy clutch.
Ever since Ginnifer cut her hair which I know was a while ago I’ve been irreversibly in love with her style. Don’t be fooled by her soft unsuspecting face, Ginnifer has major style and popped right off the red carpet in an irresistible emerald green Topshop gown.

The weather is improving and so are the looks we’ve seen over the past week! Ciara and Kim hit the streets legs a blazing as they leave STK resturant in Los Angeles. Love Kim’s Alexander McQueen knuckle duster Clutch. Sh’es also wearing a Leila Shams skirt, DVF belt, Christian Louboutin shoes…(very hot) and a Robert Rodriguez top. Thanks Monica Rose!

Mid Week Celebrity Style Round Up: Halle, Gabrielle, Ciara, Monica, Venus, Fergie, Toya + More
Halle Berry in a crimson red Elie Saab Haute Couture gown looked stunning on the black carpet of the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards this week. Her chiffon and lace gown featured a open v-neck and long cascading train. All the ingredients of a sexy sirens call!
Other style Queens including Gabrielle Union, Stylist Kiyah Wright and singer Ciara also stepped out this week where Gabby hosted The Beauty Suite in hot little numbers, including a blue jumpsuit which my girlfriend actually just asked if it wasn’t too early in the season to wear. I would say yeah just a touch, come April May these will be more than appropriate, but I feel like Gabby’s is the perfect shade even for an early spring ensemble. First Looks From the Grammys
Call of the Wild
So far on the red carpet there have been a lot of dramatic ensembles. Nicki Minaj the queen of the wild went exactly in the direction we all know she would at an event as important as the Grammys. The hair reminds me of bride of Frankenstein, and the outfit sorta makes her look like a centaur/cheetah love child…epic fail.
WWE Champion
Ciara…looks like a body building pageant model. That or a super hero. Unfortunately this Emilio Pucci just isn’t doing it for me. Don’t know what connection the top half of the outfit has with the bottom half.
High Drama
Monica looks amazing in a high front, open back gown with a train. Her look is elegant, with her cropped hair and perfect make-up.
SQOW: Style Queen of the Week
Another week is coming to a close, this week we have some great contenders for Style Queen of the Week; Rachel Roy gives us a classic look with a twist in a black and white jacket and shirt paired with sandals and tights. Taraji layers it up in pinks and darling nudes, Ciara turns head on sexy cut outs by Emilio Pucci and the former runway queen Iman sparkles in a glam Oscar de la Renta dress.
These ladies aren’t the only ones who made the list this week; Kelly Rowland and Leona Lewis also make the cut in their own ensembles, so it may be a tad hard selecting a winner!
