February 2012 Mag Covers
It’s the start of a new month; February the month of love. Full of champagne, chocolate and couture; short and sweet and too the point, that’s what February is. My Birthday is actually on Valentine’s Day so February is always twice as sweet for me! I’ve already made plans for that weekend, but of course I’m going to double my pleasure and make other arrangements as well. I’ll be sure to post pics…promise!

Models at the CFDA Fashion Awards
Models Liya Kebede, Alessandra AMbrosio, Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss, Karolina Kurkova and Sessliee Lopez hit up the CFDA Fashion Awards dresses up or should I say down in a budding trend of long gowns for the evening. White continues its reign as the go to color; I’m loving Liya’s fresh and simple approach to elegance.
Next in line is bright fire engine red, with Alessandra lighting the cameras on fire in her red gown, paired with her large silver statement piece necklace. Diva!

Kerry Washington in Gucci Spring 2011
Kerry Washington looking ravishing in her emerald and violet Gucci spring 2011 mini dress at the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert over the weekend.
Lovinggggg how she’s pulled this look together; a pulled back pony, matching clutch and flawless face. However, the shoes could have been a little less clunky.
Chanel Iman also wore the same gold belted dress to the 500 Gucci party during Milan Fashion week back in February.
Chanel also pulled her hair back which allows for no distractions from her toned chest; a skinny Gucci sandal from the same collection brings this look together nicely. I think it comes down to the shoes, bare there or bountiful bulk??

Chanel Iman & Keisha Chante Go Smokey for the Junos
It doesn’t seem like the smokey eye will be going anywhere any time soon. A favourite look for the red carpet Chanel Iman and Keisha Chante dazzled on the red carpet at the Juno awards in Toronto, Canada this past weekend.
Chanel opted for a vamp look in a dark gown no doubt by her dates for the night Canadian design duo Dsquared. Keisha chose the lighter side of things in a grecian Romona Keveza gown. Her silver accessories compliment her look, with just a touch of color on her cheeks and nails.
I actually prefer Keisha’s look its soft and feminine sometimes a break from the dark side is needed.
Guests in attendance included fellow Canadian Melanie Fiona who presented an award, Drake, Keisha Chante and Chanel Iman who accompanied Canadian designers Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared.
