Nicki Minaj and a whole slew of celebrities walked the red carpet at the BET Awards this week, Nicki surprised me most with her toned down extravagant white wedding gown.  Not exactly sure where she drew her inspiration but surprisingly this is one of her best looks…

Ashanti, Jessica Szhor, Whitney Port, and Gabourey Sibide, all attended the New York Premiere of Sex and The City 2 last night, LBD’s a blazing.  I’m not sure if these ladies coordinated but obviously there was something in the air.

Julissa Bermudez looked super sweet in a bright sea blue BCBG Max Azaria mini and Proenza Schouler platform Sandals.  This is something more along the lines of what I wanted to see on the carpet arrivals; it’s summer go for something fun!

Singer Ashanti walked the red carpet at the Grammy’s last night in a Tony Ward Fall 2009 Couture gown, with offset shoulder straps and heavy embellishments.  The Grammy’s is the perfect event to wear a long train, and she does it so well in this gown and Giuseppe Zanotti jewel sandals. 

I’m glad she kept the jewellery to a minimum, I know she likes to rock a lot, but restraint with this dress was key.
