Celebrities Gary Dourdan and Lindsey Lohan were spotted at the Viktor and Rolf collection viewing this week.  Both are channeling another famous styles; Gary is giving us a Lenny Kravitz feel, I think it’s safe to say he’s found his sexy back.  Doesn’t he look great??  And Lindsey is channeling Kate Moss with her vintage inspired look; the headband and glasses really pull this look together.

Valentino presented his Fall/Winter collection yesterday, the designer who is known for his elegant dresses didn’t fail to please his fans with the presentation of these gorgeous pieces. 

Red was bold and bright, not a shade of red for the faint of heart.  Flowing ruffles, and the combination of red and tan was a look I found very alluring.  I was just watching Oprah this evening and they mentioned that pairing red with a neutral like brown or in this case tan can make the look appear less “Jarring”.

Bow details are everywhere, this is an example of incorporating a bow in a subtle way for people who may not be comfortable wearing the trend otherwise.

Ruffles were presented in a variety of ways; on a jacket or dress, from the neck right down to the feet, ruffles can be done neatly and easily incorporated into business attire without looking foolish.  Love these looks especially the high necked cropped jacket in the 4th image.

Studded strappy heels, that are reminicent of the gladiator styled sandals were also presented in a variety of colors and heights, they even came in flats! Gorgeous!

America Ferrera looked stunning  in a black and gold Angelo Tarlazzi bubble hem dress at the premiere of her latest movie “Our Family Wedding” yesterday at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater in New York.

She accessorized with black pumps and gold earrings, which I’m actually not too fond of for this look, her dress is wild enough, the earrings are way too big.

Other than that she looks gorgeous!

Other stars that attended the event included Eva Pigford who was also on point in her dress, Regina King who stars in the movie as well as Forest and Keisha Whitaker.   The movie looks pretty good and opens this Friday March 12 in theaters. Fashion Idol: Lacey Brown by Empress-Sha featuring Dorothy Perkins shoes

Lacey Brown rocked out her best performance last night on American Idol and proved she can not only sing, but she definitely has style.
 
Layering is her thing; she layers two tanks tops over each other under an eye catching animal print cardigan and dark wash jeans. She finishes off the look with matching orange heels and a bold cocktail ring on her index finger.

I’ve been watching the movement of R&B Singer Estelle’s Jewelery Collection collaboration with one of my favourite designers Rachel Roy for a while now.  In February Rachel gave her Facebook Fans a special treat with the early preview of some of the pieces which were also for sale on her Facebook pop up store for 3 days only!

Now we call all get in on all the fabulous new pieces from the collection.  My favourite is the Purple Heart necklace and double finger ring, which are so hot right now.  I think it’s safe to say that Estelle favourite color is purple.  Purple is a royal color and looks good on many different skin tones, thats why it’s also my favourite color, besides black of course.

President and Founder of Jimmy Choo Tamara Mello, spent the day at the Nordstrom Jimmy Choo 24:7 event held at the polo lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday.  My absolute favourite Jimmy Choo is the Zoom in the picture below.  my love for them is just to deep to explain, the tribal bright colors suck me right in. I’d be drooling all over those Jimmy Choo’s if given the chance, the detail that goes into each pair is enormous, there is no question about the quality your getting for your buck.

Zoe Saldana has become one of my favourite red carpet ladies, she dresses to stun everytime. She obviously loves Givenchy and I think Givenchy dresses love her too!

 I missed this picture of her in red ombre Givenchy gown a few days ago at the Fox Searchlight Oscar party, but luckily Fashion Critic is on the ball!I love this dress, it’s super sexy, she looks confident and fresh.  She finishes her look with an oversized red clutch which I also like.

She also wore Givenchy at the actual Oscar ceremony, love both dresses, but the purple Givenchy was also my absolute favourite of all the dresses we’ve seen this week.

More Fashion inspiration from Japan.  I need to go to Japan!

Models rocked fur boots, drenched in water as they walked through the arctic inspired set for the Chanel Ready to Wear Fall/Winter 2011 presentation.  PETA must be brewing up something big because Paris Fashion week has been all about fur these past few days.

German designer Karl Lagerfeld, one of my favourites; gave us bits and pieces of himself in a few of the outfits, with his signature white shirt and black tie.  Ski bunny knits, fur shorts, and bare midriffs were amongst the few things that stood out, this is after all a Fall/Winter collection.  However the fur shorts paired with some tights could get any woman who loves fashion through the cold winter months easily.

Overall if you took elements from each of these outfits you could put together a very wearable Chanel outfit from head to toe.

Favourite Pieces included the entire outfit in the last image on the bottom row; an awesome coat with a fur neck, arms and hem with matching boots, over solid black leggings.  Very New York downtown chic.

I also love the head to toe white ensembles, not very practical, but oh so pretty!
