London Fashion Week: Matthew Williamson
Matthew Williamson’s Fall 2011 collection was inspired by a Russian painter by the name of Francisco Infante-Arana. Composed of materials which include ostrich feathers, wools, Mongolian furs, fringe and bohemian prints, the collection carried a complicated yet easy Russian sophistication. He combines neutral colors with bold pops for looks that can be worn together for fall or taken apart for spring.

Runway: Oscar De La Renta Pre-Fall 2011
Oscar de la Renta presented a stunning Pre-Fall 2011 collection as I expected no less from the evening gown king; he brought us the fire in gorgeous full length evening dresses, my favourite being the fiery red dress shown above. HOT! ***
He used intense color worn from head to toe, accented floral overlays, bows, furs and embroidery. Overall not very cohesive but the collection does have a very regal feel to it. Another hit in my opinion, I can already see some of these pieces being worn to the Grammys early next year.
