Paris Fashion Week: Miu Miu Fall 2011 Presentation

 

Pulling from notes of their very popular Spring 2010 Collection; Miu Miu yet again goes for color and graphic print in a vintage 40′s inspired  collection for the Fall 2011 season.

Fear not, the whole collection wasn’t covered in birds and flowers; modern takes on  the triangular shaped blazers, were paired with pencil skirts and glitter covered sandals or alternatively the sandle and sock look which continues its run in the spotlight.  However much you love or hate the look, its here to stay.

Paris Fashion Week: Emmanuel Ungaro Fall 2011 Presentation

 

Rihanna the first piece above is definitely for you; racy revealing yet controlled and calculated pieces were strutted down the aisle the Paris Fashion week Emmanuel Ungaro A/W 2011 presentation.

Seductive is the best way to describe most of the pieces that onlookers were previewed to digest during the viewing; lace panels that revealed the finer features of models hips arms and legs left enough for the imagination to ponder.

Black was the predominate color with splashes of teal, peach and light purples and gold.

Lightly colored satin shoes and black tights gave the collection a clean cut and ultra modern approach.

Long and short dresses, all skintight of course are dresses I can see being worn and major upcoming events.   Blazers over bare chests and pink furs coats were amongst some of the collections highlights.

Runway: Christian Dior Fall 2011

Without one word of Galliano and his unfortunate . Christian Dior a fan favourite for fall like experts showed us how to layer various colors and textures to create looks so rich in detail that I hardly find it possible to be bored with any one look.

From revealing sheer floor length dresses with feminine notes of sheer pastel chiffon, lace, and tulle complimented by the strong silhouettes of over the knee buckle boots, tweed coats, fur collars and over sized large brimmed hats, the collection was killer.   With or without Galliano Christian Dior leaves her mark once again.
