Posh + Emerald Interiors
I picked up this bright emerald green by Revlon called Posh #571 at the Lisa Cosmetics sale this past weekend, which was a trip I will never forget – savings up the wa-zoo in there! I know I haven’t told you yet, but I will share my haul with you guys in an upcoming post! Anyway I’ve been searching for a gem toned green polish for a while now, so I was super happy to run into Posh! Definitely need two or even three coats to achieve the full color, but I toped coated it with China Glaze top coat and am very happy with the end result!
I could so see this color all over the hottest interiors right now, jewel tones are huge at the moment and a great way to punch up any space.

Sweet Emotion
This year for Christmas I think I put together a pretty thorough short list of all the critical items I’ve wanted to get for a while. I put my usual items on there but one item in particular is a bottle of perfume. My nose is so sensitive and I’m such a sucker for a sweet smelling scent that I really want to get back to building my collection of alluring scents. When I think back on my most fondest memories two things always stand out for me, taste number one, because as you know I’m a super foodie, and smell. And when it comes to food, if it doesn’t smell good take it back! So naturally I was delighted when a representative at Krigler New York City offered me the opportunity to get a whiff of their latest line of up scents. They sent me two vials of perfume; #10 Subtle Orchid and #14 Lieber Gustav.
Krigler is a handcrafted perfumery that was established in 1904, since then they’e reopened in the Plaza Hotel in New York City, where they cater to celebrities and clients through custom consultations. You can actually create a custom scent thats all your own or create a fragrant candle using fine ingredients collected from around the world.
Got My Brushes!
So for the longest time I’ve flipped back and forth over subscribing to the hype and buying my own set of make up brushes to step up my shadow game. I’ve never used anything but those tiny little sponges that come with the little eye shadow compacts, and knowing I know nothing about make up brushes, I knew I wasn’t happy with the performance the sponges were giving me.
Enter the brush set! I ordered my set off of Haute Look a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier to open my mailbox this week to see my package laying in wait for my excited little hands to rip the package open from end to end.
The above image is my first trial run with the Crown brushes #604 that I think were a deal at 20.00 even from 30.00 on the regular website, including tax and shipping about 32.oo. The brushes are real hair, as oppose to synthetic, and came with 12 pieces in a “leather” case. Love the smart look of leather, it looks great in my make up basket with all my other favourite pieces!
So this is the finished look, I went a little crazy with the camera but you get the point, it was quick and easy, maybe next time I’ll post a video tutorial so you can see me apply it in action.
Hairspiration: Coo Coo for Afro Puffs
The afro never ceases to amaze me; with its full body and limitless heights the girl who wears it is self confident, assured and probably give a shit if it reminds you of the groovy 70′s. Let’s be real though there are those girls who aren’t built to handle all that hair and bite off a lil more than they’re scalps can handle. I mean I was in the mall with Jay over the weekend and this girl literally could have been swallowed mid step from all that hair on her head. Unfortunately she just wasn’t working it. But there are those who move with grace and captivate and to you sistah I say go on witcha bad self!

Nudish Lipsticks: Rimmel London #276 Kasbah
Happy Monday! I have to start off the week with my latest addiction, a peachy orange and super sweet confection that I fell in love with from the moment we met in the cosmetics department in the drug store. I literally can’t keep my hands off it…she’s gorgeous, meet my latest lip color; #276 Kasbah by Rimmel London.
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a neutral tone for sometime now and I’ve really come to love this shade because its so different than any other color I’ve owned before. Although it did take me a minute to adjust to how bold I interpreted the color to look, and to not feel self conscious about it, this shade has become my go to color for everyday wear.
