Rihanna’s NRJ Performance
Rihanna performs at the NRJ Awards in France this week, wearing see through tights and a black floral bodysuit. The thigh belt detailing, and black gloves, were a great touch they add an old Hollywood show show girl glamour. The ladies in the movie “Nine” channeled that same sort of look.

Designer Spotlight: Judith Leiber
We saw a lot of Judith Leiber Clutches on the red carpet in the past week at both the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Golden Globes. Celebs including Mariah Carey, carried the Oval Sided Crystal Clutch, Siam Austrian Crystals, for $1540.44 at Saks Fifth Avenue. Jennifer Carpenter and Olivia Wilde both carried one of my favourites, the “Streamline” a satin clutch with very generous sized inlaid Austrian crystals for $2, 495 on Judith’s web site JudithLeiber.com. Jane Krakowski carried a “Flip Top” covered in tiny Austrian crystal in silver, which is also available on the official website for $2,795.
What I love about Judith Leiber: I love embellishments and Judith Leiber has a unique way of using larger than life crystals and presenting them in such a classic elegant way, that’s neither over the top or unpractical.

Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 2010 Dress Collection

Victoria Beckham has been spotted out and about lately wearing designer head to toe; Lanvin, flats, and carrying the latest “Miss. sicily” Dolce and Gabbana bag. But what does the Victoria Collection look like? The answer may surprise you; just like her! That is what I love about the collection, her pieces are very recognizable as something that the style star would wear herself on any given day.
She has been quite busy herself these days and actually has a $50 million dollar job in Dubai in the near future to design a hotel for Rashid al-Maktoum the Prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
The former Spice Girls singer was personally approached by the ruler of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who asked her to lend her talents to the project after meeting Victoria, 35, and her 34-year-old husband David when they holidayed in the Gulf last summer.
The hotel will be located on a fashion-themed island called Isla Moda off the Dubai coast, which is part of The World development – a man-made archipelago of 300 islands constructed in the shape of a map of the landmasses of the Earth.
A source revealed: “Even in these credit-crunched times, the fee offered to Victoria was astronomical. She was absolutely stunned.”

Teyana Taylor and Lil’ Kim @ Justin Dior Comb’s Birthday Party
Cutie Pie Teyana Taylor and Lil Kim hit up Sean Diddy Combs son’s Justin Dior Combs birthday party over the weekend. Teyana rocked some ripped jeans and Jordan 4’s for a young and trendy look. Kim came a little more dressy in a LBD, make-up is still too light though, always make sure your make-up is the same color as your neck, or you’ll end up looking like a ghost! 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards: Kate Hudson in Emilio Pucci
Kate Hudson wore an Emilio Pucci white backless gown, part 2 of her white gown obsession from the Golden Globes. Love this dress, the back is too sexy, and the necklace she has running down her back turns the sex appeal up to 100. One of my favourite looks of the evening.
19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards: Toni Collette in Rafael Cennamo & Jane Krakowski In Alberta Ferretti
Toni Collette wore this Rafael Cennamo tiered skirt gown, with gold and blue detailing on the bust. She matches up her jewels to the detailing on the dress, and completes the look with a gold clutch. Jane Krakowski wore a white Alberta Ferretti one shoulder gown. The ruching detailint on the side make for a very flattering look. She completes the outfit with golden ringlets and ruby red lips.
