Thanks for stopping by True Queen, I’m your host Shanan!Blogging for me started out as a way to pass the time; away from family and friends in Ottawa, Ontario and feeling as though style had escaped me True Queen was born in 2009 to showcase the style I once had and aspired to recapture after a tremendous amount of weight gain and future plans to shed it all to reveal the new improved me. I haven’t looked back since!
I’ve connected with many boggers and have a loyal fan base today; back in the city I love, Toronto True Queen has molded into a lifestyle blog from a personal stand point focusing on any and everything that strikes a cord in my heart. A studied interior decorator, fashion illustrator, self proclaimed fashion queen and connoisseur of all things beautiful I constantly dish on my little obsessions.

And looks like we got a few things in common too. I wanted to be an interior designer at one time as well. And as for fashion…well that’s been a fascination and pursuit since I could choose my own clothes
