Music Video: Kelis “4th of July (Fireworks)”
Check out Kelis’ new video “4th of July” off her latest album Flesh Tone. I think I understand the new direction she’s taken in her music…why compete in the same market as Nas and hope people will take your side. The song is catchy, and so is her first single off the same album “Acapella”.
So back to her look, you feeling it or is it too over the top?

You know I like hers latest song because they don’t feel mainstream, its sounds like the techno and electronic stuff I listen to from Europe.
I just can’t get into this song for some reason; she sounds off key. Loves “Acapella” though-
One or two of teh looks were okay, and in general, they were distracting at best. Too weird, too over the top, too unflattering.
Weird.
And who told her that those eyelashes were cool? Ick.
