J. Mendel one of my favs for his complex simplicity premiered a stunning resort 2011 collection, one that I could see Zoe Saldana’s name written all over, especially that open back Navy dress which reminds me of  the Calvin Klein dress she wore to the 2010 Costume Gala.

Filled with draping and not a trace of black, like most collections this season; J. Mendel stuck with fully saturated navy’s oranges, and their complimentary softer hues; peach, baby blues, whites nudes and greys.

Not a fan of the fur, it is suppose to be a resort collection so I’m not into that, but the ballerina studio feel and look to each pieces is definitely hot.
