These unique pieces are the birth child of LaQuan Smith a talented 21 year old fashion designer from New York City who made a splash in the fashion world when he debuted his SS 2010 collection at New York Fashion week.

He’s created such a buzz with his work that noted celebrities including Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys and Amerie just to name a few have shown their love by sporting these one of a kind pieces, most recently in Rihanna’s Rude Boy video.

He has a way of taking his looks to the edge without tipping and falling over, and now that he’s on my radar I can’t wait to see what else he dreams up.
