Wedge boots have taken on a new face this season and I’m loving how designers are finding ways to edge out just about everything.  The buckle ankle booties are finding their way across the nation in a wide array of variations from denim to leather and from ankles to knees they’ve created quite a stir.  Even prompting Jeffery Campbell to come out with his “tribute” version to Chloe Sevigny’s  fly-tastic pair she collaborated last year with Opening Ceremony to come up with, which had a very long waiting list indeed.

Chloe’s pair cost about $690, but Asos, Aldo and Karmaloop have got it covered.  Even though it’s a “knock off” or whatever tender phrase we shall call inspired pieces, I’m really feeling the Jeffery’s which were also featured in Karmaloops latest “Misty” Lookbook.  The denim ones are cute too; ahhh can’t wait for the sun to be out full time!
